VCI Film Anti Corrosion Film

Product introduction

The VCI film is a polyethylene film which is mixing and extrusion by the PE granules and the vaporized anti-corrosion resin, and can obtain long-term anti rust effect, and has strong moisture resistance, good flexibility and good plasticity, and can be used on large cubic products. It is a high-tech packaging material for packaging, transportation and storage of iron and non-ferrous metals.

How VCI film works

TMW VCI film is applied to package metal products, automatically releasing VCI  particles, forming a molecular thick protective layer on the metal surface, preventing electron ion flowing from the anode to the cathode, thereby suppressing the occurrence of corrosion reaction and preventing rust. The rust-proof particles and the internal oxygen molecules and water molecules combine with each other, restricting their free movement, creating interlocking functions and achieving corrosion proof purposes.

Product advantages

*The volatile corrosion inhibitor particles are slowly vaporized inside the package, and can be rust-proof for a long time, and the anti corrosion period is 2 years (up to 5 years depending on the use condition);

*The anti corrosion particles can penetrate into corners of the package, especially for the inside of the metal products which are difficult to apply by the VCI oil, and can handle the corners which cannot be treated by the general anti corrosion agent, achieving better anti-rust effect;

*No need to apply anti corrosion oil, save the brushing and degreasing process, the working environment is clean,  saving the cost of process and labor costs, and improving work efficiency;

*It does not affect the characteristics of the polyethylene film, which has good performance of hot junction, good toughness, transparency , and can directly observe the product status;

*Our products do not need vacuum packaging. Compared with vacuum packaging, the packaging materials are low in cost and the packaging method is simple, but can get similar anti rust effect;

*The materials used are food-grade chemical raw materials recognized by the FDA, and do not contain substances that are carcinogenic or mutated to the human body, so that they are safe, environmentally friendly and non-toxic;

Type: sheet, roll, flat bag, M bag, three-dimensional bag, self-sealing pocket, etc. 

Specifications: standard volume: 1.5 m * 2 layers * 100 m / roll (single open);

Standard thickness: 0.10mm & 0.08mm;

Standard width: 1.5m & 1.8m

Can also be made to customer requirements, the width range: 0.1m--4m; thickness range: 0.06mm-0.20mm;

The color of the product :light green, pink, yellow, blue, colorless, etc., and various colors can be processed according to customer requirements;
