If the VCI Film is stored in an environment with strong sunlight, it may indeed affect its vaporization anti-rust effect. The anti-rust principle of VCI (Vapor Phase anti-rust agent) Film relies on the evaporation of the anti-rust agent within the film to the metal surface to form a protective layer, thereby preventing metal oxidation and corrosion. However, when exposed to intense sunlight for a long time, the membrane material and the rust inhibitors within it may be affected by ultraviolet rays and high temperatures, leading to an increase in their volatility or degradation. Ultraviolet radiation can accelerate the chemical degradation of certain organic rust inhibitors, destroy their molecular structure and cause them to lose their rust prevention effect. In addition, under high-temperature conditions, the physical properties of the membrane material may also change. For instance, the strength, ductility and air tightness of the film may decline, which will affect the overall protective ability of the VCI Film. Long-term exposure to sunlight may also cause the film to discolor, age and even become brittle, further reducing its protective effectiveness. Therefore, to maintain the best anti-rust effect of  VCI Film, it should be avoided to be stored in an environment with strong direct sunlight. It is best to choose a cool, dry and temperature-stable storage environment to ensure that its anti-rust performance is not affected
